3-32 Third-Year Girl
Looking back on March 11th of last year, there were difficult times, but I also happily remember taking a bath and eating at my relative’s house.
Once we started living without water or electricity, there were many difficulties, but thanks to the aid packages that came, we were really helped out. Later, I was happy when lifelines were repaired and felt indebted to the Self-Defense Forces, grateful that they repaired roads and cleared debris without stopping. We moved into temporary housing and I was happy that life was able to return to normal. Although it is a small place, I’m grateful we can live there.
School started, and although I was a little nervous that the school building was different, I’m thankful because I enjoy going there. However, I think the old school building was better, but it can’t be helped. Looking back over the last year, there were tough times but we overcame them together, so I want to work hard to graduate. I also want to perform well when I get into high school.
I’m also looking forward to being able to build a new city. In addition, I think our current lifestyle makes it important to be connected with our neighbors. So I want to preserve those relationships even after our city is rebuilt. From April, I’ll start going to high school in Morioka. I want to do my best at everything.

私は昨年の３月１１日の日を思い出して見ると、つらい事もあって親戚の家にはお風呂や食事などもいただきうれしく思いました。
電気や水のない生活が始まって不便な所もたくさんありましたが救援物資がきたおかげですごく助かりました。その後の生活はライフラインが復旧してうれしかったですし、自衛隊の人達にはお世話になったし、交通整備やガレキ撤去を休まずしてくれて感謝しています。仮設住宅に入居していつも通りの生活にもどる事ができてよかったです。せまいけれどここで暮らせていただいてありがとうございました。
学校生活が始まって校舎が変わって不安な事もあったけど楽しく学校に通っているのでありがたく思いました。でも前の校舎の方がいいと思ったけどしょうがないなあと思いました。一年間振り返って見ると、大変な時期もあったし、みんなで乗り越えて来たので卒業に向けてがんばりたいです。あと高校入学も立派にこなせるようにしたいと思いました。
それから新しい街ができる事を楽しみにしています。それと、今の暮らしの中で隣近所とのつながりは大切です。だから新しい街になっても、そのつながりを大切にしていきたいです。私は四月から盛岡で高校生活を始めます。いろんな事に取り組んでがんばりたいです。
